Vacancy – Teacher Aide

Ruawai College seeks Teacher Aides for 30 hours per week, term time only.

As we prepare for our 2025 changes to the curriculum structure, we need a few more hands on deck to support additional learning needs.

This is a fixed term, term time only until the end of the 2025 school year, with the opportunity to discuss the future of the role once the project of supporting curriculum changes is complete.

The successful applicant(s) will preferably have experience (or a desire to learn) in supporting teachers within their classrooms have good organisational and communication skills, be familiar with the NZ curriculum and have a flexible solution focused approach. Applicants must uphold the values of Ruawai College and actively work to meet our Staff Guide to Best Practice (www.ruawaicollege.school.nz/thercguide/)

You will need to be able to work with teachers and other staff members to ensure that our students have the best educational opportunities and outcomes.

Experience is an advantage but not essential. The start date is negotiable.
