The Sir Peter Blake Young Leader Award, in association with Westpac, recognises young people who have shown promising leadership in their schools and communities.
Mr Phillip Currey from the Westpac bank presented Tahlia Johnson, a Year 8 student from Ruawai College with the Sir Peter Blake Young Leaders award on Thursday 2 August. The Sir Peter Blake Young Leader award recognises the following qualities and characteristics in young Kiwis
– Integrity
– The determination and the will to succeed
– Being a good team builder, leader and member
– Being hard working and know how to have fun
