Ruawai College had its very own Talent show and what a success it was. All the performing acts did a fantastic job and the audience was the best, loudest and most supportive audience that I have ever heard in my entire life! It is an understatement to say that we were entertained because every act was awesome. I am so proud of every person who got up on stage and showed courage, I can’t wait for next years Ruawai has Talent!
Here’s a comment from Mr McDonnell the organiser of the week:
The talent quest was probably the highlight of the week. It takes a lot of guts to get up in front of the entire school so well done to all the entrants. It was a very tough decision but the placings were …drum roll please….1st Seth Eve-Rumsey and Shannon Cutts, 2nd The Year 10 African drummers and 3rd Amelia White-Fotu and Reo Keeti-Curtis. Joanne Bircham and Harriet Spoelstra were highly commended and a special mention goes to Michael Hammon and Brooklyn Gilmour who won the rock battle.
